My name is Thomas Morley and I have trained in New York since 2013. Prior to that, I spent two years as assistant to Eddie Kenneally and four to Jeremy Noseda. I am a graduate of Godolphin Flying Start and have a Bachelor’s Degree from Newcastle University.
While I am not FROM here, I hope that over time it’s become apparent that I am strongly FOR here. I want to see the very brightest of futures for the industry in New York. I want to look forward, not at the past. Our flagship new Belmont and incomparable Saratoga signify that racing is a profitable, competitive, top echelon sport here. The New York breeding industry is expanding and growing but needs to continue to do so, with better mares to furnish a growing stallion base, and that stallion base must improve in quality, too. The leadership of NYTHA needs to drive forward, together, to ensure that this growth continues. For too long factions have been at odds; I want to see as much unity as possible and would strive to try and help this happen.
