A racing industry veteran, Marie joined NYTHA in November 2022 as its Communications Manager. She was a senior editor at the Thoroughbred Daily News for 14 years before becoming a freelance writer and communications consultant. Eventually, the racetrack life lured her back, and she was the stakes coordinator for Laurel and Pimlico prior to coming to NYTHA.
