Sandy has been deeply involved in the horse racing industry for over 35 years, making him a highly experienced and dedicated individual. With a passion for these magnificent animals, Sandy embarked on a mission to make their post-racing lives better.

In 2005, he co-founded the Unbridled Foundation, an organization dedicated to rescuing horses when they retire from the racing industry. Recognizing the importance of providing these horses with a safe and loving environment, Sandy has successfully rehabilitated and rehomed countless retired racehorses.

As a new member of NYTHA’s board, Sandy’s goal is to make a significant difference and foster improvements in all aspects of the racing business. With his extensive knowledge and years of experience, Sandy believes he can contribute fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to the challenges faced by the industry. He envisions creating a more sustainable model that ensures the welfare of the horses and supports the growth of the sport.
