Saratoga Springs, NY
I am seeking a seat on the Board of Directors of the New York Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association because I believe strongly in the future of New York racing and the importance of representing horsemen and women who compete, work, and support every level of our sport.
I have been involved in the New York Thoroughbred industry my entire life as an owner, breeder, equine advocate, and longtime supporter of the people, horses, farms, and businesses that make racing possible. Growing up in Saratoga, I was fortunate to learn from individuals who helped shape this industry and strengthened my commitment to protecting and advancing New York racing for future generations.
My professional career has centered on business development, revenue generation, strategic partnerships, communications, marketing, and stakeholder engagement. Through my consulting company, I have collaborated with clients across the Thoroughbred industry, hospitality, equine biotechnology, and emerging businesses. This experience provides a broad perspective on building partnerships, creating sustainable revenue opportunities, and bringing diverse stakeholders together around shared goals.
As a director, I would bring an independent, collaborative, and business-minded perspective to the Board. NYTHA must advocate strongly for its members while working constructively with NYRA, breeders, owners, trainers, government leaders, regulators, and industry organizations. Equally important is ensuring that horsemen and women across the state are heard, respected, and represented, regardless of their role or level of participation in our sport.
My priorities would include protecting members’ economic interests; supporting purses, racing opportunities, and incentives that sustain participation in New York; advancing equine welfare and responsible aftercare; strengthening communication and member engagement; and positioning New York racing for long-term growth and sustainability.
I would be honored to serve the membership, listen to the diverse perspectives of horsemen and women statewide, and help ensure New York remains a leading Thoroughbred racing jurisdiction.
