I have been involved in horse racing since I was 16 years old. I established my own racing stable in January of 1991 after working as an assistant for Woody Stephens for five-and-a-half years. In my travels I have met many people and understand the various perspectives of everyone involved in racing, from owners, trainers, track management and most of all, backstretch workers.
I have been a director of NYTHA in the past and would again like to help serve and represent the horsemen of New York. I believe it is in the best interest of horsemen to keep the lines of communication open between horsemen, the NYRA, the Governor, our local politicians, as well as in Albany. With your help and support I would like to continue to do this and more. Thank you.
