RTCA-NY: A Message From Ramón Dominguez

Dear Friends:
Over the past month we have been celebrating the heritage and culture of the Hispanic community.
In the United States, the Hispanic population has grown significantly in the last decade, from 50 million in 2010 to 62 million in 2020. Hispanics accounted for 51% of entire U.S. population growth during that period.
On the track’s backstretch, Hispanics are the predominant ethnic group and we do not need to look far to find Latinos to celebrate and honor who are trainers, jockeys, exercise riders, grooms, hot walkers, owners, and members of the workforce that continue to make Thoroughbred horse racing the best place to live and work.
It is not possible to name everyone, of course, but you will see below some of the most well-known Latinos in our horse racing industry who we would like to salute and mention. They are all simple sources of pride within the horse racing community.
Thank you, as always, for your support of the NY Race Track Chaplaincy. Just as we have been honoring our Hispanic population, you may honor a friend or loved one with a donation to the NY Chaplaincy and they will receive a beautiful e-card acknowledging the donation, as shown below.
Thank you and God Bless You,
Ramón Dominguez
