The New York Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association released its first-ever Annual Report at the July 23 NYTHA General Membership Meeting at the Fasig-Tipton Pavilion in Saratoga Springs. The 16-page report is an easy read that offers an overview of the good work done by NYTHA, from benevolence for the backstretch community to aftercare for the horses to advocacy for horsemen in Albany and Washington, D.C. It includes a snapshot of the organization’s financial statement, and stories of workers and horses we have helped.
“It is important to NYTHA that our owners and trainers understand what we do, and where we spend the funds we receive,” NYTHA President Joe Appelbaum said. “Our Annual Report offers comprehensive information, from our Mission Statement to our Audited Financials. We hope that you will enjoy learning more about your association.”
