NYTHA Response to NYCLASS Press Release

Apr. 14, 2021

NYCLASS Has No Class

“NYCLASS is truly shameful. They attempt to advance their radical anti-worker agenda on the backs of two horses that lost their lives in a tragic accident and the dozens of heroic equine workers and firefighters who put their lives at risk while saving 58 horses,” said Joe Appelbaum, NYTHA President.

He continued, “While NYCLASS were safely living their privileged lives, our working men and women ran into the flames to save the horses they work with every day. NYCLASS should be ashamed of the contempt they show to the animals and the workers.”
