Live Data Transmission: Arioneo Unveils New Equimetre 2.0 Sensor

Arioneo, a pioneering company in equine health and technology, is excited to unveil its latest innovation, the Equimetre 2.0. Redesigned based on feedback from over 750 trainers worldwide, the new sensor is more robust, compact, and features a groundbreaking live data transmission system.

A Testament to Innovation and Quality

Released in 2019, Equimetre is the only all-in-one tool on the market to track GPS, heart rate, electrocardiograms (ECG), locomotion, and stride analysis for Equine athletes during training. Initially designed to benefit trainers and veterinarians, it is now commonly used in research fields given the solution is independently scientifically validated for the medical quality of the ECG at full speed and its ability to be used as a diagnosis tool for arrhythmia and cardiac pathologies. Equimetre is now a renowned partner for success with equine professionals who want to leverage performance, while preserving health and welfare. However, in its first version, the product presented room for improvement and further opportunity for innovation.

“Equimetre 2.0 represents a significant leap in our commitment to equine health and performance,” says Coline Labadie, COO of Arioneo. “We’ve listened to the feedback from trainers worldwide and have crafted a sensor that is not only more robust and compact than before but also brings real-time data monitoring to your fingertips.”

The Equimetre 2.0 boasts superior durability, thanks to its high-quality materials designed to withstand the intense demands of the stable environment. The newly designed sensor is tougher and more compact, with enhanced attachments and materials reinforced in stress-prone areas making the device ultraresistant. Extra attention has been paid to the comfort of the horse with a new soft protection to ensure a seamless, and comfortable integration in day-to-day training.

Revolutionizing Data Transmission with 4G Live
A highlight of the Equimetre 2.0 is its pioneering 4G live feature. “We’ve transformed how trainers and owners interact with data. Our upgraded 4G modem, real-time monitoring is now a reality, irrespective of your location,” explains Thomas Buisson, CTO at Arioneo. This feature allows for live tracking of training sessions worldwide. For example, a session monitored in France can now be shared with stakeholders based in Australia or the US. The Equimetre platform ensures real-time data transmission between trainers, owners, and veterinarians, bringing training insights closer at a global scale.
