As a lifelong horsewoman, it is my honor and privilege to train Thoroughbred racehorses. Having the opportunity to accomplish big and little things throughout my career has continued to help me grow and take in multiple points of view on all facets of the sport and business.
I participate in the full cycle of our industry — from conception to retirement — which allows for me to advocate from a first-person point of view and understand the urgency of matters, even when they may seem small to some. Having the opportunity to serve on the NYTHA Board the last several years (in addition to the New York Jockey Injury Compensation Fund and HISA Horsemen’s Advisory Group) has inspired me to continue to seek out key leadership roles during this critical time for our industry. I am a solutions-based thinker who wants to help find smart remedies to our challenges. I ask for you to vote for me as President of the organization.
We have an immense opportunity in New York with a once in-a-lifetime restart thanks to the new Belmont Park, and must navigate the frustrations many feel with HISA along with major legislative pushes ahead. Having a depth of experience and knowledge, in addition to strong
industry relationships and rapport, makes me an ideal representative for our New York horsemen and women and — of course — our horses. I have an open-door policy, so please know I am a call, text or email away to help remedy your concerns.
Thank you for your consideration in voting for me as the next President of NYTHA. I can’t wait to work as hard for you as I do rooting one home!
